As a collective group, we applied our findings from the previous phase into a larger scale model that was inspired by the idea of creating a multi-use space for kids that encapsulate definitions of both communal and intimate spaces.
01: TRANSITION // COMMUNAL & INTIMATE SPACES - January 2023
In Phase 1 our studio explored ideas of communal and intimate spaces through the creative use of both “hard” and “soft” materials to define them.
By creating sections of our models we identified the most interesting aspects of our spaces, and found operations/techniques to correlate with each one.
